my clowns just spawned blk/white & naked

My clowns here in my display just spawned. They are a Ora Black/White and a Ora Naked. Need to do more research to try and raise them. Any input would be great.

By what I have heard is your first spawn will catch you by surprise and they more than likely won't make it as many are not prepared for the first spawn. Time to do some reading and culturing of rotifers and brine I think... I don't know for sure yet either.

This is great news. Like the previous poster said, the first 5-6 spawns are typically considered non-viable. You can attempt to collect at any point but you probably won't have any measurable success with the fry until the spawns beginning in late December or early January.

Start fattening up the parents. Feed them a lot.

And start doing some reading. Joyce Wilkerson's book is incredible if you can find a copy.

If I had to guess id say mis-bared black and white

The naked is the orange version and not the midnight kind.

Most like a naked mocha color
