Hiiiiii
so my clowns have in the same tank together for about 8 - 9months. they rarely leave each others side
however, when I approach the tank to feed the larger one seems to charge the other like a bull, no harm is done, no contact or anything. also now that the carpet anemone is in the tank the larger clown seems to want it all to itself doing the same type of motions.

anyone else experience this type of behavior? is it normal?

like I said there's no physical harm to one another.

Are the clowns the same species? If so, it sounds normal...clowns can be weird. As long as the aggression doesn't turn harmful, they will work it out. The dominant one is or will be the female and controls the roost.

Just keep an eye on them. That's my opinion anyway.
