My coral is dying, checked water and water is ok. Don’t know why it happens, does anyone know why the coral starts to become dark.

What are your water parameters? That being said, IME coral is dying off when you start to see the white skeleton. If yours still has all its tissue that’s a good sign. Can you describe the dark spots and more of your concern?

Need a list of current parameters, tank age and lighting being used please.

Nice jack-o-lantern.
List parameters, lights, where in tank(or tank pic) flow.
How long have you had it? Anything near it?

It’s 13.5 Gal Fluval tank. I just started put coral in my tank. The seller said it’s easy to keep this coral. I had it in my tank for about two weeks. It is glow and color at first. Then it started to fall off tissues from the edge and not glow as beginning. I try feed food and amino acids, but it doesn’t work.

Many corals will take a awhile to get “comfortable” in your tank and flourish, they can lose color and not grow for awhile, just got to keep them alive until that happens and correct any major stressors. Others will immediately, its just part of the hobby. That picture doesn’t look terrible, but it’s hard to see.

Although a new smaller tank like that may just not be ready for coral. I wouldn’t say that is a difficult coral, but there are easier ones to start with and start building up diversity and experience in a tank.

Can't help if you don't

Also... Where do you have it in your tank (high, low, near the substrate) and what kind of flow do you have around and over it and are you feeding it? As others have said it can take awhile for corals to settle in but there could also be something not quite right in your setup that is making it unhappy. A full tank shot under white light will help. So...
- Parameters
- Lighting and schedule
- Flow
- Feeding

Yeah... I am trying to keep it. I also have a hammer and two zoa, they looks good. I think they are easier than this one to keep

Hi I It’s medium flow and medium light. Feeding oyster egg once a week.
Not sure it ate or not.
I put in a medium position in a 13.5 gal tank.
Now I test everything about water is in a normal range , only calcium is 390. But my tank only have this coral need calcium.

What's normal range for you?
Medium light? 75 watt daylight bulb from home depot? Metal halide? Led? 75 candles?
Need hard numbers... If you don't know some numbers, it's okay, just tell us.

Nevermind,
I'll tell you.

Does PO4 low effect the coral? My wave is 40x . I posted the numbers.

Full tank picture is always helpful.
