What seems like a weekly occurrence, I've seen (and captured this time) a creature I've never seen before. It's a very bright yellow worm-like creature that was on the side of my aquarium. It's about an inch long total. Crawled around on the glass easily and has several tentacles on what I assume is the mouth side. I put it in a beaker in case it's an evil beast. I'll throw home back in if the consensus is OK

Never seen anything like it before in all my many years of reefing.

That's a first for me! Following to find out what that beast is.

The tentacles on the one end make me lean towards some sort of eunicid worm. Good if you took it out.

That's a sweet looking for worm. Your correct that the white part is the mouth. At least it's not a bobbit worm.

Dorvilleidae?

Nereididae worm, polychaete:
Regards
Here are some clearer pictures...doesn't really look like the Nereididae, different body and head. I'm thinking eunice. This thing's is very tiny, and moves a lot, so clearer images are very difficult

Phyllodocidae sp.

Thanks, Everyone! I'm thinking Phyllodocidae sp. I found this link which looks exactly like it, including the 2 lobes in the rear.

Now the question...keep or get rid of. It's too small to trust it would stay in the sump. And there has been something munching on my purple milli's base a little. Not sure if my Bobbit would do that. Could be next week's creature :)
