Hi, I'm new to forum and been in hobby almost 2 years. there has been a lot of changes regarding the equipments being getting ATI unit 6 x 24W dimmable, doser along with knowing tank's usage of elements and fine tuning them, getting your own RO filter unit saving so much time and money on RO water also not buying what you don't really need while visiting LFS.

And also took me more then a year found 20ltr jerry can to fit inside 275's cabinet beside the sump to replace 10litre one. More importantly also gained a lots & lots of knowledge then what I did knew a year back and so far this journey has been epic.

Thanks everyone for a nice compliment..my tank like most of us has had/have issues and drama..and problems. Can't wait to make it a perfect reef like everyone has on their mind. Well thats quite very unlikely on my case..
Atm im in canada for another three week or four.. till then my missus is taking care of topping up atu, cleaning skimmer cups weekly and also making a KH balling salt mix over video chat..which im quite surprised/happy..
My turbo snail has been knocking off frag plugs off the racks and pistol shrimp covering the plugs with sand,its pretty sad to just wait for.it to dissolve as its dropped at inaccessible area of tank.(for my wife).

Monti was attached with small amount of putty which later on grew plates and vertical too on weirs..

My sump keeps changing but I should have a recent picture on phone ill try to upload soon.

As to reefroid I use it pinch a day when I can or could be,3_4 days too..but atmitsoverseabeen 4 5 weeks not using them, nutrients problem and also being overseas 7weeks now..

ATU,ATS,Live rock rubble, cheato all in first chamber,ATS is on overflow gravity fed and only 10w 2:1 red:blue.
Second chamber is balling salt inlets,skimmer and last being return and a reactor with phosphate media. (ATI). I've found the sump design quite tricky being square and not normal left to right flow or the other way.

Calcium mix for balling ran out.maybe a days left.its been ordered hope my wife proves to be a true reefer's Mrs.. again. I'm pretty sound to say she has been great cares while I'm away....
3weeks to get home..

That's one sexy acan under the silver belly wrasse. Awesome photo too I know wrasses are the worst for fish shots as they're so dang quick lol
what lens are you using for these shots please?

Been a while since my last update. Back home 2weeks ago after being 2 month away.glad everything went ok and as planned.
Back home with a lot of ruins and lot of issues but there's some hope too... I have sort of won the battle of controlling algae problem but haven't got rid of it yet. ATS might have help on this.
My Mexican turbo snail has been knocking frags off the rack and been buried by pistol shrimp. Acan frag fell over my acanto covering it for 2_3 days before I was home so I might be able to get it back to life but it's very slim....
Literally have so many thibgs to update but using a phone...so just a quick brief..plus pics...
These guys has been growing mad..

On the other hand acantophyllia and acan frag....

Thanks buddy... I'm a very fresh to reefing too and never stop learning here too. All my tubes are ati..
1 channel: 2 coral plus @ 65-75 %
2 channel: 2 actinic plus + 2 blue plus @ 100% (had 4x blue plus,liked that combo too.very clean blue,)
Supplemented with 2 x aquaray 600 Fiji blue @60% more or less.
