As a general rule it is advisable to leave room between the rock and the glass. Hard to tell, but it looks like you may not have the space for maintenance and cleaning around the edge on the left side. Keep working at it -- you'll get it!

I always try this then it’s time to put them in the tank and I can never recreate it.
