I did not want to drill hole on my ceiling or wall because it would be set in a new house, so I found on rack which look something like this. Only found some hanger like the pic in Europe website. I decided to build one my one from 3/4 electric conduit and use a bender to bend it 90degree

Painted it in black later on. It can support more weight than I expected, around 40lbs

Skimmer: Bubble magus curve 5
Light: hybrid aquaticlife T5 + Radion XR15
Flow: 2 Maxspect XF250 due to the tank thickness I had to use this one ( abit overkill 5300gph/ea)

I dont want any pest so stick with BRS dry rock.
Also added pods and chaeto to the fuge during the cycle.

Livestock: Davinci Clown from Vossen Aquatic and BTA from many seller on reef2reef.
Nitrate and phosphate are being control at a low level, and keep it as stable as I can.

Very nice!
How many Davinci's did you start with and what sizes are they?
15, around 1” some are bigger some are smaller but they are from same clutch

You did a great job with the stand and light hanger.
Following your build for progress, love clown harem builds.
Inspired by BRS and Ricenoodle’s harem tank :) both are very nice

You did a wonderful job there man. I have seen any harem with long term success. Best of luck. Following.

I know it is difficult due to the heavy load and the agression, also nems need stable parameter.
I’m keeping Nitrate < 4, Phosphate below <0.04 things are doing fine for me

The Sherman did not do well, was up and down so many times, decided to treat Cipro but only go 1/2 amount since it was not as bad as other nem.

Beautiful sleek build and scaping Danh Ngo

I as you am a BTA nerd. And great results from treating the Sherman! :) How long has this beauty been setup?
2 month old only, all nem are doing really good during last three week except the sherman which came in a very bad condition

Few thing that I’ve learnt over the past year.
NO CHEMICAL use. Except GFO
I find Carbon dosing, adding other media, or supplement can make the parameter off if we dont do it correctly. It will result in param swing which make coral and nems unhappy.
Also I choose Chaeto is my main nutrient export. Since I have 15 clown, 1 Watchman goby, a pair of high fin goby. Keeping No3 and PO4 under control is good too. I never want my NO3 or PO4 to 0 because I had Dino in one of my tank before and had to tear the tank down.

Acidentally overflow my skimmate into the tank, change 10% of water, put in new gfo, some algea appear today on the glass, hopefully things will go back down soon
