My Deep Blue 80 Rimless build from scratch

Very nice setup and scape. Like the rimless. Thank you for the link to your build.

Anyone on here that sells amphipods and the little brittle starfish that live in the live rock and I would also like to seed my new tank with some Coraline algae now to so it can start building in the system.

Finally got some hair algae growth on my scrubber it's hard to see but it's there and growing now almost 4 wks into the cycle

I also set up the maxspect gyre 230xf and it's nice I like it a lot I'm ordering the slave gyre to go with it this pump moves some water and dead silent at 70%

Good choice on the gyres, I'm going the same route with my deep blue 80. Whats the deal with the mangroves tho? You've already got an ATS and that fuge light spilling into the display could cause some problems once you start getting a decent bioload going.

What do you mean ats? That's a cpr hob fuge I had big ideas but not sure I about yet but I wanted to be able to mass breed and feed pods I also have a fuge in the sump too with a algae scrubber also. But my plan is to only run the light on mangroves in the day the light will only be on until I get home I'm trying to run a 200micron sock and all natural filtration mangroves chaeto and algae
