My display tank water level too high?

I'm sitting at 1" below rim of tank with return off lol. Am I the only one that thinks that's way too high?

As stated above, DT level can be adjusted by your return pump, if its adjustable.

But I dont think theres anything wrong with your water level

I see you salty reef lol. Return pump is a varios4 adjustable, it's on the lowest setting, I can't get the water level lower regardless of return pump just based on how high they mounted the overflow. Your running your water high bro, with an external overflow? You da man

Yup yup no issues. Its got another 2 gallons before water is on the floor. Single drain overflow

Fwiw,
1" below rim is the normal recommended water level for 99% of rimless tanks.
I asked the builder of my new tank this very question and they said the same thing.

My buddy was so fed up with looking at the water line on his "rimless" truvu 55 and ended up lining the top with electrical tape to simulate the rim LOL.

if youre just worried, dont be.
If its bothering your eyes, then absolutely cut the weir!

I appreciate your assistance. I am gna try to cut the weir "deeper" but it may be a pain in the butt that doesn't happen . I'll keep u posted

So I used a ripsaw to cut my overflow down 3/4". I'm much Happier with this level. I did it with water in the tank, easy peasy.
