I wanted to take some time to talk about my start into saltwater. Now this all started with my schooling I am almost done with me mechanical engineering degree and my love for science. I wanted a hobby that was scientific after looking into everything keeping an aquarium came up and with a trip to the pet store I realized how awesome just watching fish was. So I went with it and was and got a 40b and then looked into saltwater and was run off by the large cost of starting one and got into cichlids and I have had great success that has grown to 75g tank. So I wanted more of a challenge in November I started a 15g nano.
I made a stand in my room because the size is so small and got the tank ready with live sand and 6lb of cured live rock and 10 lb of dry rock. I have had some trouble with fish as some of you know but I am ready to try again. What I really want to share is how good the rest of the tank is going. I am seeing good coral groth and coraline algae is spreading across the dry rock quickly. The crabs snails and pods are all happy. The real point of this to thank everyone on here for the great volume of information on here and everyone's quick response when I was in need. Without this information I could not have this much nice growth without too much issues. Here are some pictures of my tanks and enjoy the Holidays! Thanks one more time I hope you enjoyed my story I can't wait to get to the point of being able to give back.
