i have some black acrylic laying around and decided to build an ATO (auto top off). i have been told on the thread here that it is not only a good thing to to keep the water level the same in the tank, but that burst of fresh water is not good for the tank. i ordered an ato kit off of bulk reef supply. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/Auto-T...duct_info.html
i have a little pump that in not using, and went to the local acrylic shop and got #4, and #16 acrylic glue for about $15. and the ato kit was $39.99. so ill have about $60 into it...not too shabby!

is a very agreeable statement. as for the kit, i like them i have 2 of them. one i added lights to help indicate problem and tell me what mode its in with one look.

thanks! i really like it and so does the livestock!! since i have had it running....skimmer is always working very well and no change in the water level!
