Just wanted to share with you all my DIY 10g frag tank that I did a few days ago. Originally it was going to be a mini reef but since I am going to give fragging a go.....I decided to go ahead and try that. If it doesn't work out for me, I'll go back to the original plan

Materials and steps:
1 sheet of egg crate

Old Rio pump I had laying around

50 watt heater and Marineland power filter I had gotten about a month ago

I decided to make Three shelves. One is 16"x8" and Two are 7"x6".

The bottom large shelf is 3" off of the bottom and the other Two shelves are 4" over the bottom shelf.

I made the legs with jointing strips of plastic that are used to hold plastic pegboard sheets together. They fit in there tight enough where you don't even need to glue them....but I did anyways

All comments and suggestions welcome.

I like the legs on the egg crate. Where did you find it???

Home Depot. I had bought them about a year ago. aven't seen them in ALL HD's though. Some HD's sell the plastic peg boards but not the joints themselves.

I was planning on going to HD tomorrow I will see if I can find some. Thanks for the info :)

i was just wondering how this was going???? i have an old 10 gal and stand stitting around and was thinking about doing the same thing.
