Hi all,
So about 3 months ago my bow front tank decided it would be fun to pop the center brace and start bowing out (all pun intended). So now I went down to a 65g tank tall. But now there is no room under the hood for equipment. If anyone have good and cheap ideas I am all for it.

Running 2 canister filters and a hang-on reactor. Canisters are rated for over 80g. Can't fit my skimmer in the stand.

Have you considered a separate cabinet located next to stand. You might look at using kitchen wall cabinets, they come in different widths and heights.

I had the same issue as you with equipment needs and decided to go all out with an in-wall tank. Now I have 2 in-wall tanks and will never have a free standing stand again. I suggest you find a wall that you can do an in-wall. You'll not regret it.

I wish. This house is too dang old. We are looking to rebuild the house in the next few years. But right now I am extremely limited with funds and space. Finally got a sump that will fit under the stand. But I need to get a good Hang on overflow box that I can actually afford. I have one now but I do not know if it will work.
