Is my Duncan dying?

No, it's open. Too high alkalinity can make corals contract.

See if it's receding from the hard skeleton, if so, do target feeding with mouth sized food, 2-3 times a week. Small frozen mysis like Hikari (not large from Piscine Energetics), or LPS pellets that can be cut to the size. Pick up regurgitated food, if there is not enough consumers for it in the tank.

Seems to look fine for most part. Moderate light and water flow and feedings 2-3X per week is biggest requirement.
They will pout as in pic when alk is too high or calcium is too low3
Temp- 77-79
salinity 1.025
ph - 8.1-8.3

Mysis shrimp is a perfect food. Like other corals, Duncans have and need zooxanthellae within their tissues that provide most of their food source. In order to function properly, their algae needs adequate lighting. In the coral light spectrum, Duncan corals require as mentioned, low to moderate lighting. As with other coral tanks be sure to program your lights to normal day cycles of light and dark at night.

Thank you both very much! I am pretty new to corals and just want to make sure my guys are healthy
