I love these guys .Reminds me of when i ordered a yellow margin headed eel for our store and they sent us a garden eel instead. Had to sell him for 5 bucks because we didnt have a proper tank for him. It was someone's lucky day
 
Ive heard they are a lot of work
I feed them once a day, thats all the work thats required

I kept garden eels for years, I miss them all the time. How long have you had them? They are some of the most fun marine creatures to keep imo.
i have had 2 for 2 years and the other 3 for 1 year
 
Awesome! Do you have a build thread?
 
I'm not a huge eel/predator person (beyond sharks or rays, of course) but I could definitely see getting some of those. They don't have quite the same ugly snake factor that most eels do.

I dont, I always try to start one but then i forget to update it

Yeah they are super cool, they need docile tank mates though. Right now they are the only fish in the tank, but in the past I kept them with an orange spotted filefish and a bluestripe pipefish
