Hey guys, I see lot of people loves BRS and I want to share whats happened to me.

I'm from Brazil and I live in US, most specifically in Los Angeles. I used to order a lot from them in the past, but someday, after I place a order from Brazil, they deleted my account with not even an email and cancelled a order that I was expecting. After couple emails with no answer, they said they deleted my account because I had an order placed internationally.

I was visiting my family in Brazil and I've sent my order to my friend's house, which was going to be my first stop back to US. I don't see a problem on it since I used my US CARD to order. Fair? Not even close... but ok... life continues...

I got really sad and after some time, I decided to quit the aquarium thing... but this January, I was back in the game and after read some reviews, I made a new account, placed an order and everything went thru. This order was about 700$. I got the order really quickly and I changed my mind about them.

Then, while I was waiting for my new tank get ready, I went to Brazil again to work and visit family and placed a order one day before I come back to US but this time, I sent to my home US address, same from my first order. They cancelled it....

Ok... I placed a new order when I got back home and they canceled again but I only saw it one week after... Bought my things from different stores because I got really ticked and I moved forward...

I have a BRS RO/DI and I'm having problems with it, then I decided after a forum help, to buy the Universal Carbon Block Filter from them and they cancelled my order again... I called them to find a explanation and they said they are not comfortable to sell to me anymore and they cannot do anything... I explained then why I have a Brazilian credit card, why I placed orders from Brazil, why I use two different paypals, one is from Brazil, linked to my Brazilian account, one is from here, linked to my US bank account, I offered to send a bill to show then my American address and at the end I asked then if there is anything I could do...

The answer was the same: They don't want to sell anything for me anymore... It's not just frustrating but it is also a shame... Doesn't matter if I place an order and send to my friend... Could be a gift or whatever... I have a house in Los Angeles, an US cellphone and a US credit card... so whats the real problem here? The guy I've talked said he could't do anything because wasn't on his hands...

I'm really sad with their customer service and their way to handle things...

But I told then everything tht happened and I offerede anything to fix that and the answer was Im not welcome to order...

Thats not how a store talk to their clients... each case is different and if they was that good, they should take a look...

Everybody has a opinion... thats not the way I deal.

Hi Felipe,

I appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience, and I am so sorry for your frustration. Respectfully, this would be best handled privately; if you would like to shoot me a PM I am happy to help shed some light on this in anyway I can!

Thanks.
