It's actually white with a purplish tint to it. That type of wrasse is called and Yellow & Purple Wrasse. The colors you see in my pic are its juvenile colors. When it matures the yellow on the top 1/2 will turn pink and the white on the bottom half will turn purple.

The temperment is pretty docile. It doesn't bother anything in my tank. I have a 6 line and a Melanurus and they're all fine together.

I think this fish being so active and at the same time being very peaceful just puts it over the top.

yep, its cool how mines swims in a small circle around his sleeping area in the sand then dives right in when i turn off my T5's and turn on my moonlights at night

Haha I love wrasses, they're so fun to watch and feed.

That definitely is a yellow corris wrasse.
They're great to have in every system, controls pod population and flatworms if you have any!

Very difficult to photograph with my iPhone maybe I can get a pic later with my camera. I ended up getting one after getting good feedback on them from a few people who have posted in this thread. I too like mine a lot, very active and peaceful fish that adds a pleasant streak if yellow to my tank.
