I love my Jedi mind trick and my red hot chili pepper and the superman. I would say they are my fav as well as setosa and undata. I guess I have a lot of favorites. Thats my problem.....

Wow, that mai tai looks nothing like mine. I can see why you got rid of it. I'll have to post some pics : )

I still like the purple haze, pretty deep purple when its under the right conditions.

I think i need a 300g just to fit my favorite monti's : )

LA lakers is a cool one too.

That was the only monti that gave me trouble... I bleached it so bad it never recovered...:(
I'm not really a huge monti fan but I think it's because I have never saw colony shots just frags here and there... Poletti hooked me up with a nice colony of the sunset that is really nice thou... I needed some orange in the tank...;)

I have what was sold to me as a rainbow monti that has plated off my rock work and created a shelf. Anyone heard of this?

Mine tends to approach plating where it gets to a ledge of the rock...but I think that's cause it's a big encrustation. Nearly 4 X 5 now...

Here's a few of mine.

Thanks Troy, the mai tai just glows in my tank, i love that dang thing, pry my favorite coral.

Hmmm, that Mai Tai look an aweful lot like Ultimate's True Reverse Sunset Monti. Makes sense though. The "Mai Tai" name was slapped on a variety of reverse sunset types coming in from Australia. Most of them look like the reverse sunset you also pictured, but a very few have the glowing red/orange polyps and bright green body. The Mai Tai also shows the nodular surface like the True Reverse, which is another distinguishing characteristic from the regular reverse sunsets. The picture doesn't capture the green on this all that well; it's a little brighter, though it can vary with different lights. The polyps actually fluoresce under blue/actinic, which normal reverse sunset/chili pepper montis don't.
