Just stable Alk and Cal, and some nitrates and phosphates and lots of food. The few I have I’ve had for probably 6 or 7 months, and all of them have started growing at least 5-6 new heads, one of them (and it’s the prettiest one) has 14 new heads on it, literally all the way around the original 3 polyps. I try to feed them at least once a week, usually twice, I feed mysis, brine, and reef roids, and I also dose aminos (Red Sea AB+). They didn’t start growing until I’d had them for 2-3 months, and then they just took off. I have what I think is a Micromussa amakusensis which I’ve had for roughly the same amount of time and it hasn’t grown at all. Do you have other LPS/stony corals that are growing? How long have you had that acan, I have one with 2 heads for 6 months, I talk to it, I sing to it and I feed it like crazy and still no new growth, but it will puff out like crazy!![]()
I have a few but they are relatively new, my chalice corals seem to be giving me the best growth and alot of my zoas have exploded, but my lone acan refuses to give me anything lolJust stable Alk and Cal, and some nitrates and phosphates and lots of food.
