So after having my first ever Anemone move across my whole tank for about 3 weeks stright he finally has been still for a week and a few days. I have been spot feeding every now and then, does he look like he is stretching for light or is this what they do when they are happy?

Any other tips and trick are acceptable as well.

Yea I agree! Looks nice...I gave up years ago...I have 4 RBT and a blue carpet nem, had them all for several years. They go where they want. Two nems moved once and stayed, the other two are newer....one moved and found a spot in the back of the tank of course.... LOL! I don't try to move them...I don't want to risk a tornado foot. My carpet never has moved.

I feed mine once a week....frozen Mysis, and do a 20% wc once a week....the one on the far left is one of the newer nems, and the second new one looks like that one and took a walk to the back of the tank! LOL!

Wow that's beautiful!
Thanks! Your nem looks really beautiful! I almost picked up one like it at my LFS....but I have to many already....my husband had to do a intervention! LOL! They said it was a rainbow nem..... really pretty like yours! It looks happy in your tank!

Keep us posted on how he is doing!!! [emoji16]

Hahaha thank you, I'm still fairly new to the hobby, a buddy of mine hooked me up with a 10 gallon that he had running for 2 years and I had it running for about 10 months and then got a 46 gallon for the same guy and started new with that tank, I'm loving it so far.

Wow! Looks really good! I love your corals too!!! Nice bright colors!!!! What kind of livestock do you have? How often do you feed your corals? They look nice and healthy!

I have owned the orange acans ever since I started my 10 gallon as well as the green zoa's in the back left. I bought my first rock flower nem alittle over a month ago. I placed him in the tank and he dident move at all so that was pretty cool. A buddy of mine fragged me a hammer and it now has 7 heads on it! I usually spot feed my acan, hammers and zoa's with mysis shrip and reef roids once to two times a week. I will spot feed my rose bubble and rock flower with just mysis shrip two too three times a week. I plan on adding fish at some point but I really like just having a reef tank. I do own a pajama cardinal that I have had since I got my 10 gallon and he is doing really good too. I did also buy my first SPS corals about a month ago as well, Watermelon challost and Orange leptoseris. I dont have to great of pictures of them but I do see some growth out of them.

Wow!!!! You have nice corals a good growth! Yea no need to rush the fish thing if you are happy with your corals. I mostly have all Wrasses in my tank, I like Angelfish but after I started growing Acan colonies I had to give that up. A Angelfish will totally destroy corals, and that would be an expensive lunch. I did have to give up a cuc with my Wrasses though....lol...but I don't notice a issue without one. I still have a nocturnal cuc though, but that one is small! LOL!

Do nems move that much all the time or should he eventually find his happy place?? I hate having to worry about "oh, where is he today.."

The longest he has stayed put has been a week and like 2 days, then I made this post and he moved haha all my parameters have been the same but this guy is a traveler..

Yea eventually they will find a spot they like, but at any time they can decide to move again for no reason. In my tank I never change the flow on my MP40....or they might all move....learned that a long time ago! [emoji16]
