My First build Red Sea XL 200

Hi all!
Here’s my first tank

just getting started with setting it all up. So nothing exciting

I’m going back and forth on BB vs. Sand

I got some great suggestions for fish to add once I get to that point. So here’s my list so far
-firefish
-royal gramma
-Pygmy angel
-TailSpot Blenny
-Clowns

You will like your red sea tank. I have the 300. I would suggest leaving lights off first 4 months before adding coral to allow your system to develop biodiversity and microfauna. Fish don't need lights. This will help make your ugly phase manageable when you add first corals and light.

Looking good , but I agree keeps the lights off for a while and let tank do it’s thing .

Oh yes of course. I just turned the light on after I got it filled up for the “full effect”

It’s been a few weeks now. Successfully moved my corals over from my 10 gal tank.
First fish in are Royal Gramma and Randall’s Assessor Basslet. Both are doing great and no problems!

my clean up crew arrived on Thursday but I was disappointed. I ordered a pack that was 25 nassarius, 25 margarita and 25 hermit. Most of the nassarius made it but I was left with 2 hermits and 3 margarita (only 5 were sent).
I got a partial refund that I’ll use for something else so I’d like to know what online sellers you trust for clean up crews?
