Maybe you are right, I regress.This looks like a healthy hammer. Please note flesh is different from euphyllia to euphyllia.
Leave it alone, it might be fully extended and is just a smaller frag.

Sorry, I disagree. The flesh also grows down. This hammer I took the pic of was just like the OP's. Yes it grew up but also flesh grew down as it healed.Incorrect. That’s how they grow.
