My first efflo

Hey all, just got an efflo , at my led. It looks awesome, need advice on placement. I run LED light and have good flow. Any tips from you guys ? Difficulty ?

High light, high flow...grows fast and will shade/sting most other corals if given the opportunity. Looks good!

At the store they said low light. I have it on the and be as I just got it. So high light and flow ? I have the perfect spot. I'm gonna glue it to an over hang

How difficult is it to keep ?

Typical SPS. Acclimate it to your lighting and keep the parameters stable. Efflo has a cool growth pattern once it starts growing.

Maybe start it low, It looks a little light colored, who know's how long its been since its seen some strong light. They aren't difficult to keep, though your mileage may vary!

Took the pic under blue lights. It has nice blue tips . Its on the sand bed. I just got

Took pic under blue lights, it's on the sand bed , I just got it a few hours ago. Will send u a better pic tomorrow.. thanks for the advice ! It's about 4 inches high and 2 inches wide. Snagged it for 35 bucks

How difficult is it to keep ?

Just give it time to acclimate. If they said low light, then they probably had it low so don't shock it up top. Gradually move it to your overhang and all should be well!

Stupid question, should I mouth the efflo horizontally or vertically ? I understand it's a plating coral. The way it's mounted on the plug ,it's mounted vertically. ( beautiful coral by the way)
