My first ever simple reef tank 22 Gal

I finally have some control over my aquarium. I suffered from green hair algae for months that kept growing back because of some mistakes I made in the beginning. the green algae have almost all disappeared and do not grow back. see below a picture from now, and a few months ago when it was very dirty.
the aquarium is now 7 months old and I would like to add an Royal Gramma and 2 Cardinalfish ( after holidays ) because it is my very first aquarium I opted for leathers and no sps or lps yet.

Nice! Yes at first all tanks go through an ugly stage but it looks like you’re coming out of that. Good luck and keep us posted!

Almost 2 months later. Xenia is growing really fast so as you can see.
for the rest I have a bit of bubble algae, i think because of nutrition ( was on holiday for 1,5 week and had an automatic fish feeder, maybe a bit too much food). But for the rest everything survived after the holidays and seems well!

The tank is now almost 1 year old. Started with this hobby with a bit of doubts if i would really like it ( also after some time) and 0 knowledge about aquariums but I can say this is now one of my biggest hobbies here some recent pics:
