My First Frag Swap

Hi, I am planning on being at the Frag swap this weekend. I've never been to one before. I'm hoping to purchase a few small things...maybe some zoas and mushrooms. Do I need to bring something to take them home in or will I just take them home in a bag provided by seller? Just wanted to get an idea of what to expect. Any other info or advise you can give me regarding what to expect at the frag swap would be appreciated. Thanks.

Definitely bring a cooler. I bring a small lunch cooler and will have a bigger one in the car just in case.

For me this will also be my first swap. I would also appreciate any advice. Will bring a small cooler. I think I'm only 15 mins or so away from the church.

I should have an extra styro shiping cooler or two. If in need stop by and ask I will also have great prices on lots of stuff shrooms, rics, zoas, sps.

Also these will be my first corals. Would drip acclimation in a bowl for about an hour be adequate or is there some other technique that is preferred? Don't want to loose an investment due to ignorance. Thanks.

Sleeper, you need to join the club. They are a wealth of information, and like the swap, a good place to get reasonably priced corals!!! Everybody gets tired of something eventually and end up selling it all or in part to friends..

I probably will, my problem right now is I am on a break from school right now and that's why I have been logged in for like a week straight. I start back on monday and you probably won't hear from me for like weeks at a time. Also, I have been saving like a dollar her and 2 there ever since I heard about the swap. So I couldn't pay dues until I get my next student loan in a few weeks. Grad school if fun but very demanding. I think that's why I have such an addiction as my tank is 2 feet from my computer screen. Which would you rather look at? Everyone has been very nice since I left "that other forum" and started hanging out here tho and I will prolly join in a few weeks when uncle sam says it's o.k.

Poor babies. Maybe you are right. I'll have to try to kill them with kindness. Show them the love..... You know they will "bring it". Might have to revisit the measuring stick issue. That cracked me up.
