My first hitchhiker!

OMG!! I just found this little guy in my tank and have no idea what it is, where it came from, or how long it's been there! Whatever it is, I think it's pretty awesome! Plus it's my first ever hitchhiker so I'm a little over excited about it lol.

Nice! Hitchhikers are my favorite part of this hobby! I'm having trouble making out what it is. Can you describe it? Does it move?

Sorry, my camera isn't the greatest so I couldn't get any better pics. Yeah, it moves and acts like a snail but it doesn't have a shell. Looking at it real close it looked like there might be some tiny spikes sticking out of it's back but it was hard to tell. That could have just been a trick of the light playing off it's black with white stripes coloration.

It also has some snail like tentacles coming out of it's head/mouth area.

I believe its a stomatella snail but if you can, please take pics under white light to verify

Sweet, I've heard those are nice to have. It seems to have pulled a disapearing act on me but if I can find it again I will try.
