My first lost in my tank. The clown first was alive just 10 hrs ago. Idk what happen or what it could of been. I purchased a pair of clown fish about a month ago one was getting bigger and this little guy wasn’t growing and he got trapped in the over flow box 2 other times not including today when I checked on the tank.

I found it in the filter floss, this sucks!! Anyone see any indication of illness or parasites with these two images?? I did notice the front white strip have patches and it’s not a solid white strip not sure if that was an indicator. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

Sorry for your loss. They might have still been working out their dominance and it can get aggressive at times. This little guy might have jumped while being chased by the other. I believe that's what happened to mine. It jumped through a small opening in the cover and I found him in the morning on top of it.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know how it feels. Some time back I had a tiny blue hippo that dies on me after I shut down the flow and power heads to feed the systems fish and corals in the system. My return pump and power heads come on automatically after so that I don't forget to turn them back on and while that is good it is not so good if your tiny tang decided to wedge itself inside one of those power heads. So when it turned back on unfortunately he was in there. :( I was heartbroken for awhile and make it a point to make sure that cant happen again.

I no longer have him, but my Tailspot would go into the PH's when they were off during feeding time. I would have to remember to look before turning them on again.

Talk about death wish.

They aren't the best swimmers and I generally think they just either get chased into a bad spot, or they aren't strong enough to paddle out of a bad situation. Lost my bigger one last week. She jumped out of the tank trying to get a fly. Sat flopping on the carpet for 15 minutes. I know because I had to watch my Nest cam to find out when and how it happened. The little guy got caught in the overflow once.

Talk about death wish.

That's exactly it.
