Close to 50pounds per structure and the tank is 5ftVery stylish and I think looks great! Any ideas how much rock weight is in there compared to your tank volume? Also is that. 3ft or 4ft tank?
My two halves were 32lbs and 44lbs, I definitely had a hard time lifting them up and over into the tank, but I already had water in it so it cushioned a lot of the weight, and I just went slow and managed to not break anythingThank you. It was a lot of fun and i will never go back to stacking rocks. It was definitely really hard to pick it up and move it to the tank. Had to do a lot of glueing in the tank from the pieces that broke off.

It’s really easy to make. I would suggest not to use the E-Macro mortar. I found it to not hold up well. Superglue seems to be stronger and sand sticks better to it as well.I am inspired to attempt a new aquascape. I just don't want to mess with what's already done.
I wish I had saltwater in the tank when I put it in.My two halves were 32lbs and 44lbs, I definitely had a hard time lifting them up and over into the tank, but I already had water in it so it cushioned a lot of the weight, and I just went slow and managed to not break anything![]()
Your aquascape looks amazing. I like the sand hill you made.Yours look great!!!
Mine are beefier by design. I wanted something that was a compromise between traditional stacked and absolute NSA. All three sections combined weight is in the 140-160 range. And like yours, they were a BEAST to set in the tank. Each one was built to just fit in the 1/3 opening of the Eurobraced 6-foot tank. (apologies for the PAR stickers)
