my first om many Newbie mistakes!

So, I just got my protein skimmer up and running in my sump this weekend it was actually skimming I had about 1 inch of skimmate in it. I figure let me clean the sock so I shut the pump off, not really paying attention sump level increased skimmer overflowed and dumped all that crap back into my sump.

Pretty funny!

We've all been there before I'm sure

I love my apex- had that happen many times myself years ago before getting an apex- just create commands to shut off certain devices if "x"

Great investment they are.

Yup, been there! Won't be the last time it will happen either! Lol.
Sometimes they go wonky for no reason. The only real away around it is to install a float switch in the cup to shut it off if it gets to high.
