Looks as though you have almost everything you need . Good luck on the build.

Cut some acrylic for a sump lid.

And made some screens instead of the glass lids. More light getting through it seems.

Yea, you're better off with the screen covers...You don't have to worry too much about the salt creep and dust hindering the light transmittance with those. Great looking setup and done right out the chute.

One recommendation I would make... I didn't see how low below your overflow your return lines come back into the tank; however, I recommend you install a swing check on the discharge of your return pump. In the event of a power loss, your tank will drain down to the level of your returns, if you don't have a check valve to stop the reverse flow.

Just a head's up on the GSP, it will take off and overrun your tank, once it attaches to the rock it is near impossible to get off. You make like the look of flowing "grass" in your tank, and if you do, you're set. However, if your like me and eventually end up wanting sps. The GSP will take up some precious real estate in your tank. I would suggest growing it on an "island" away from your main rock work and let it grow up the side walls versus on the main rock itself. just my $.02.

I really like your LED setup...very clean install.

when i turn off the return pump to feed i get about 3g of water into the sump, no suction problems as of yet. The sump will hold up to 30g of water, and runs at about 12g. so i can hold alot more water than could be siphoned into the sump.

What do you think of the lights? Also how does your lights differ from the default layout?

So far they're great! Corals are really happy. There is a picture of the layout a couple pages back.
I know i got rid of greens, added warm whites and violets

Programmers is tricky, not really great at it yet.

Got a Network Adapter hooked up tonight. Pretty neat stuff, made the APEX controllable via my RAZR MAXX HD. But my NETGEAR adapter changed it's IP tonight, locking me out. I can't get into the adapters settings' either to disable DHCP... hmm..

My local Coral guy/ friend just got this in recently. He said the vendor he bought it from doesn't usually ship to the U.S. So as far as he knows it's quite unique, maybe even the only one in the U.S. The rack was designed for use with an MP40, which I don't have (yet). But I will, I just bought it as a frag rack, maybe a mushroom rack. It's awesome because it gives you some useable space where you had none! Let me know what you guys think!
