Hello all!

I’m just diving into the hobby and very excited! Also very appreciative of this online community and the collaborative vibe.

I guess I just want to present a summary of where I’m at and see what kind of feedback or guidance I get.

Purchased a 60g corner overflow cube that came with an eshopps nano cube sump for like $200. It came with a stand too, but it was cheapy garbage so I repurposed my desk instead (it’s very solid/sturdy and I ran a big board between the back legs).

I really tried to do my research and ended up with the following:

-Three eflux 1050gph wave pumps
-AI Hydra 26 light
-BM Curve 5 skimmer (currently going bonkers)
-60lb dry rock from BRS
-Mostly fine dry sand, plus a 10lb bag of live aragonite
-Herbie overflow system, so far so good
-Two eheim 150W heaters (one set to 77, one set to 75)
- IM Hydrofil Titanium ATO controller (have a maxi-jet 400 pump to use with it) not set up yet..
- Aquatop 607 return pump

Here are some photos, a little cloudy as I’m still adding salt/dialing in salinity.

Any feedback is helpful! Wish me luck :)

Here’s a better look at the scape. I didn’t use glue or anything but it’s pretty dang sturdy.

I like it so far. The rocks came out really nice. I'm kicking around the idea of pulling all of my rocks and drilling them so I can stack them like pillars (I have a 60g cube also).

How did you attach your rocks to each other?

Edit: you posted while I was writing mine. I see now the rocks are just stacked.
