My first reef tank

Very new to the saltwater hobby. My tank has been running for 2 months now. I still have not added any coral because I need to get lights for my tank. I currently have the following.
55 gallon tank
Marine land light bar
OCTO HOB 1000 classic protein skimmer
55 lbs of dry rock
Partial cuc added 3 weeks ago at first signs of diatoms.
2 clowns added 2 weeks ago
1 yellow eyed tang added 1 week ago
1 blood or fire shrimp added 1 week ago

Fire shrimp of blood shrimp he is so cool the other day the tang went up to him opens his mouth and he started brushing his teeth lol

You will probably want a different light if coral is what you want

I am definitely getting a different light. But it works for now. I will get one

r 2 in a couple weeks not in any hurry to get coral and kill it.slow and steady wins the race right

Cool setup..just a little advice I would spread the rocks for better flow and more room for corals that being said welcome to the greatest adventure/hobby and good luck.

Can’t help with the video, I can’t load them in either.

Your scape is very nice. Work work work lol. It’s good work though. Can’t wait to see it as it matures.
