So, as promised here is my startup thread!:)

Maybe I should introduce myself first:) A swede (also living in Sweden...) who just started his first saltwater aquarium, a 28 g (105L). After some building everything is in order and I now waiting on approval from my landlord to use the R/O filter in our laundry room (I dont dare to use it in my shower).
So far I have rinsed the sand and checked all the electronics. Hopefully I can start producing R/O-water tomorrow!

Anyway, here is my first picture of the beauty:)

I think I will have some clown fishes to start with and some corals. I think that will be a later issue when the tank is ready:)

I tested my brand new RO unit:

The "trash water" is pouring out with high pressure but the filtered water is dripping out. I know there will be a lot of "trash water" but have I installed the unit correctly when the filtered water is just dripping?

Yes it is a slow trickle. You can get a booster pump, but I can't tell you how much more pressure and volume of water it will create. I have a BRS and if I remember correctly it was a 4 to 1 ratio on waste water to filtered. Tank is looking good!

Thanks for the answer! Now I finally managed to get my first 5 gallons of RO water into my tank. But the water is a bit muddy. Before I added water I covered the bottom with this sand:

Is this a result of I didnt rinse my sand enough?

So after three days of the starting cycle I saw som life in the tank:) I think it is Daisy polyps. If it is, should I remove them and, how is the best way to do it?

If you do not want them I would remove. They probably grow like weeds. You could continue to monitor though and see how fast they grow. If you can take the rock out and pull them or use a toothbrush to remove them or tweezers maybe.
