Hello! So you maybe know my other thread " I have nothing". That's going to change soon! I'm "going to have something!"
So, here is my plan
1. 1 32 gal led biocube
2. Blank pounds of live rock ( how many?)
3. Blank pounds of live sand (how much?)
4. Heater
5.pump
6. Test kit, hydrometer, food, coral food etc... ( suggestions)
Wish list of animals ( idk about criticism, just a WISHLIST not ACTUALLY getting them)
1. 5 hermit crabs
2. 4 snails
3. 2 cleaner shrimp
4. 1 brittle star
5. 1 maroon clown fish
6. 2 fire gobys ( 1 normal 1 elagant)
7. 1 orange spotted goby.
8. Assorted soft corals ( yes, its a reef)
9. Feather duster ( large)
Too much? Idk
Here is the story on how were getting the tank;
So we (my dad and I) walked in to Advanced Marine Aquatics in Alberson, LI, NY. (VARY nice owner, I recommend his store) fairy new place. We went there because we were looking for a fish tank.
When we walked in we saw a new biocube 14. I asked the man behind the counter (also the owner) what size was it. Then my dad asked is there any bigger sizes. After he said all the sizes we asked him what the 32 gal would cost... And guess what he said? He said the retail prise is 256 dollars. He said if we order it from him he would give us EVERYTHING a normal biocube 32 has for $220! So after we talked on how to set the tank up and everything I asked my dad, " can we get it soon?" And he said yes. So that's my fun trip to the candy store. Will post updates sooner or later! ;)

I would say 50-60 pounds of rock, and enough sand for at least a 2 inch sand (gobys like a deep sand)
Stay clear of a brittle star you'll be taking a chance at starving it nuking your whole tank. Up your clean up crew force

Thank you! Should I get 6/7 hermit crabs and 5/6 snails? Sorry, I'm new.
Edit: do I have to get that many pounds of live rock or does that include dry rock?

I'd say start with 1 lb of live rock or dry rock per gallon... 50-60 sounds to me like too much for a 32 gallon.... But I guess it's personal preference in the end....

This is the spot we are planning on putting the tank! Getting the aquarium in about a week or two! Yay!

Awesome. The biocubes are a very nice easy to maintain setup. 1 thing to maybe rethink about in your stock list is the 2 fire gobys. You may run into issues with that in a tank that size. They may be fine if introduced together bbuuutttt they may beat each other to death as well. I don't think colors make a difference it's the body style. They are very peaceful fish towards all other tank mates but don't usually like each other in a small home aquarium unless they happen to be a bonded pair.
