While this is not my first tank that has grown coralline algae, it has been over 10 years since I have been in the reefing hobby. My last tank was 29g biocube, the old ones with the flourescent bulbs. It grew coralline for a bit before everything died.
I was very pleased to see some purple specs of coralline algae on my gyre pumps when servicing the tank last night. I did even notice a few spots on the rockwork as well. Nothing is growing on the glass yet.
I have CORALLINE yay. I am sure a year from now I will hate it with a passion.
