This is my first Saltwater Tank, I've been going for about 3 months and its slowly coming along. I have learned A LOT in the last 3 months and still have no idea what i am doing. o_O

I have a Cadlights Versa 42 Gallon w/ 16 gallon Sump.

Here are some pics, And i'll try to keep the thread updated.

Still learning every day. GBTA moved and got sucked into the powerhead.

Again still learning, This was my favorite coral. But some aptasia formed at the base and i noticed a little too late and it killed the entire thing in a matter of just a few days. I had to pull the rock yesterday and i boiled it jut to make sure that the aptaisia didnt come back.

I'm jealous your tank looks that good at 3 months. Mine looks like that now, but it's a year old, lol.

Shame to hear about your Duncan, I love mine.

Welcome!

P.S. Did your nem die after getting sucked into the powerhead? Mine got sucked in twice but made 100% recovery each time.

Yeah, i tried to save it and thought it was doing ok until it got sucked into the powerhead a 2nd time. So i had to get rid of it. Since then i have changed my flow so that cannot happen again once i get another one.

Looks great already!
