All of them were fine yesterday(clownfish and sailfin tang) I cleaned the tank and they didn’t seem too stressed them I dosed calcium.
I woke up this morning and they are all dead.
Tank is about 6 months old. All inverts are doing fine.

ca 420
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Ph 8

What's your tempature? Any sources of metal get in the tank? Heater is intact, no rust from anything with magnets?

Inverts alive makes me think oxygen..

Sorry for your loss.

Not sure if you have coral to absorb CA, but if you just changed warer, there was no need yet for addition of CA.
I assume water temperature of new water matched that if the tank Nd it was RO water and not tap from the sink?

Here it is

6-8 mos is the common loss timeframe for fish in most reefs that didn’t use a disease prevention protocol, very likely here. One or both fish dies, ammonia loops the system...

keep it going but with corals and re prep the tank for a couple clownfish after doing your disease preps seen in the fish disease forum stickies

those systems are meant to be stacked to the hilt in coral, and 1% use of fish after disease preps then you will have fun. Coral heavy, not fish heavy
