My fish are dieing off n idk why. HELP!!

Raising temperature for marine ich does not make it go away, neither does UV.
Weird, the marine biologist I spoke with said otherwise. As he was explaining the life cycle of ich he said raising the temp accelerates it keeping it in the water more often and giving your UV sterilizer a better chance it killing it.

Well, thats the speculation because in freshwater thats true. The UV can kill ICH, but it would have to be big enough and be able to catch them in their free swimming stage.

Breakthecycle is correct. It does impact the length of ichs life cycle, but will not eradicate it. 50 degree temps don't either.

UV is ineffective at best. Useless at worst. It can help ONLY if flow in the tank and to the UV is flawlessly planned out and plummed and the bulb is 8 months old or less I believe it is and the correct wattage. This encapsulates probably 1% of those who use UV. Even still it doesn't eradicate ich, it only helps the fish develop a resistance which would happen for many of them in the absence of UV for many fish.

Ask him/her for a paper, study, reference to back up those assertions. Even something just on Google Scholar will be fine.

I believe diatom filters are as effective in salt water as fresh for removing ich. The real issue is that ich is usually found in most lfs systems and probably was in your water long before you noticed an outbreak. As fish get stressed they become easy targets for infection so a good environment to start with goes a long way toward keeping ich under control. With fresh water you can add salt to kill ich and although I may be wrong I believe lowering salinity in a marine tank kills off ich. Anyone try it with some degree of success?

Wow bad fish choices here and a horse shoe crab should be left in the ocean. Lot of beginner fish choices that alway ends in disaster. Always check your fish here on the forum. Just because a fish is being sold in a store doesn't mean you should buy it. Alway research each fish you buy. An think about their life as important. Batfish get very very large and have to live in thousands of gallon aquariums. Sand feed gobies require an aquarium that is several years old and has been nurtured with copepods so that there are food for them to eat. Horseshoe crabs also need vast areas of muddy sandy areas to feed on micro fauna.
Always research your fish and animals for your aquarium as their lives are important too.
Jelly fish need a kreisel flow Humblefish that's the word you are looking for. This type of flow keeps the jellies suspended in the water column of the aquarium. They can not swim like normal fish do so they will be torn apart with power head flow.
But this aquarium has a decoration that looks like a jellyfish. One of our LFS has this in one of their display tanks. Don't really like it as it makes people think they could actually keep one out side of an actual jelly fish tank.
