how do your clowns do? i have read that 3 clowns is a bad combo. do they keep to their own area? i have 2 O. clowns thinking of adding more but very hesitant. 90 gal 1ywg, 2 O.clowns, 2 purple firefish, 2 skunk shrimp, 1 raspberry dottyback, 1 bi color chromis, 1 emerald crab, 1 decorator crab, and CUC. all fish except dotty and chromis are juveniles.

I have read and been told the same, but I never had a problem. I started with two then got two more. One died. They stay apart alot but I see them group together often. I have had the three for over 3 years.

I would keep an eye on the dottyback. Similar color and body shape to the black cap basslet and while it's one of the less aggressive dottybacks, the basslet is pretty shy.

They been together for a half a year now. They usually keep to themselves, but on occasion they swim together , they co exist just fine in my 150
