Hey all, new to this forum and new to the wonderful world of a saltwater aquarium [emoji16] Thought that I would like to share my fish here, really loving these guys from the first day I had them in
This here is Mushu, he's the very first fish I had in my aquarium and is also the reason why I started going marine. I love the undulating movements of a triggerfish's fins as well as the charming (or hellish) personalities I've read, heard and seen from hobbyists to divers to public aquarium staff. Plus seeing his condition at the store I got him from, I couldn't bear to leave him. Lying on his side in one corner, trying to get away from the big puffer that shared the same tank. Store said they had him for nearly 5 months from an inch in size and no one wanted him. No one save for me, now in my tank he happily swims around and enjoys shooting jets of water out of the tank (something I'm not that okay with [emoji23] )
This is Mufasa, the aptly named Fuzzy Dwarf Lionfish. Mufasa was the second addition to the tank and I am really liking his presence, and behavior. Fanning out his fins, he's also cool with Mushu sometimes just brushing up against him (another thing I'm not okay with!) and Mufasa will just sit there, ignoring Mushu using him as a bolster.
Desjardini/Sailfin Tang I recently got as well, he was an impulse buy but I am really liking this impulse buy [emoji13] He has made the tank more lively, and is very helpful in cleaning the tank of unwanted pests and leftover food.
Another unnamed fish I have, this Pink Spotted Watchman Goby was originally used as a cleanup since I read triggers will kill snails, urchins, hermits and whatnot but I seem to be growing fond of him everyday
Not featured here are the 4 damsels I have, 2 Blue Devils, an Ocellaris Clown and a Three Stripe. These guys are almost always hiding and I do not intend on keeping them long term.
That's all my saltwater fish, and if you'd like, feel free to share yours too!
