My fix for dinos

Maybe I got lucky, I don’t know but my lfs said to toss a dead damsel in the sump/aio filter and dose ab+ at the suggested ulns dosage every day and they went away in about two weeks!

I think you got lucky. The damsel and ab+ raised your nutrients. I hope this damsel wasn't a sacrifice to the Dino gods.

Thanks for the info.

I agree that if there is a cause an effect, raised nutrients is the likely explanation, and I personally think there are better ways to raise nutrients than a dead fish in the tank. Feeding more, or dosing nutrients, for example.

No, it was one that was about to get pitched into the trash at the lfs!

I would be afraid of introducing something undesirable in the tank, like a parasite, from the dead fish.
