MY FORKTAIL BLENNY GOT BAD GASH ON SIDE FROM NERO 5!!!

Noticed when i came home a little while ago my poor blenny had a 1/4" gash on his side, hovering in corner by overflow, didn't eat when fed other fish. I have Seachem Stress Guard that says it's good for healing wounds, etc..., Is there anything else to add that could help? *with stress guard skimmer goes crazy* ; This guy was always swimming so close to the nero 5's i figured this might happen some day. It's my fault - along with the big openings on back of nero's , I was having problems with weak magnets ( 12mm glass) and bought over a month ago the new Maxspect xf330's that come with a fish/snail guard but haven't had the chance to install them. Well now I'll be installing them by Wednesday!! And throw those friggin nero's in the garbage!! AI has been aware of these problems with this pump but refuse to acknowledge/fix it. Hope this guy comes thru.

There is a 3d printed adapter available that protects the back of the Nero 5s.

The only thing for the blenny would be to remove, give it a Ruby rally bath followed by antibiotics to prevent infections. Otherwise you can observe and see if things improve on their own.

Thanks. I tried to catch him to put in qt/ hospital but he still has strength to dart for rocks so I don't want to stress him anymore. I'll keep adding stress guard daily and hope for the best.
