I installed a new fragging station recently, its a piece of Maple Work bench (15X30) with a hinged wing I got from our local Ikea returns dept. for $.29! The wing is made from corrugated cardboard sandwiched between two pieces of laminated hardboard. Its very light. I cut a hole in that wing and dropped in a big rubbermaid (tupperwear) bowl. Its a 1.5g capacity bowl with a lid, that I use as a dry sink, or when fragging I fill it with some tank water, and store the colonies/frags in it while their waiting to get fragged. The wing folds down when it is in the way. Most of the time its up. I just use a piece of 3/4" PVC to prop it up.. The workbench is great when you need a solid surface to chisel rocks apart.
I also picked up a magnifier lamp. this is amazing when trying to frag off tiny polyps or picking algae off a frag.
