My friends puffer is sick need help

My friend sent me some pictures of his puffer hoping someone here can help me help him out. Question is what is the disease and how should he treat and prevent it
His tank is 300gallon reef ready but it is fish only tank

This is bacterial and I believe ich has begun
Quarantine tank will be needed with additional oxygen via air stone and treatment Will be either seachem kanaplex or ruby rally pro
Monitor ammonia levels with a reliable test kit

Poor water quality, poor diet, post injury

It does look like a post injury bacterial infection to me. Can your friend move it to a treatment tank and dose with a broad spectrum, gram negative antibiotic like Neoplex?
