My diamondback goby jumped after I was trying to catch an infected fish come to find out it's not infected. I'm worried he has brain damage. What should I do please help

All you can do is put him back in the tank and hope for the best... I had one of my clowns jump onto the floor once and he was there at least a couple minutes before I discovered him and put him back... hes still alive and happy.

Thanks the only damage I see is maybe a little bruising. He fell about 4 and a half foot

put him in the tank, hes likely fine if rather stressed, oh and get a lid!

I have had two fish take the big dive, like 6 feet onto a tile floor. They are doing fine today! I got the mesh from BRS and a DIY window frame kit from Walmart. Problem solved cheaply.

fish are rather resilient, I don't like the direction your post is going, the fish is likely fine, although rather stressed

I say if he was stupid enough to jump out in the first place, the brain damage is a preexisting condition and therefore not covered under the current policy.

Your Goby is most likely to be okay. Even little fish with tiny little bones have a fairly thick skull to protect their brain.
You mentioned that you think he has brain damage, why? How is he acting after being reintroduced into the tank? He is/was probably over stressed and stunned but, if this happened yesterday and he is still with you, should be okay.
If he is acting weird, try lowering your light intensity and limiting movement near the tank to avoid stressing him further.
Oh! I agree it’s no laughing matter when a living creature may be suffering.

He is still eating. I say this because he is only. Fish and the impact was very audible although it may have been the water.
