First you need to provide some info.

How old is the tank.
What are the parameters (salinity, alkalinity, nitrate, phosphate, and temperature).
How long has the coral been in the tank?

8 months ...kh 8.5....temperature 26 degrees...phosphate 0...nitrate 0.

The coral is 1 month in the tank. I feed my corals Reef roids and use fuel. My torch is healthy and growing.

I wouldn’t sweat it to much if that’s even a Gorgonian. They do that sometimes.

That has got to be the smallest Gorgonian frag I’ve ever seen. Most are like sticks 3-6” sticking up.
