Is this what I think it is?

That's a bottle cap by the way, for scale consideration. I'm afraid that that may be a sea spider, but I've never seen one.

Better pic?? Was in alive in the water or already dead when u found it.kinda resembles a normal arachnid. Maybe it fell in?

Pycnogonids
Interceptor is the way to kill them.

Being that they are all Arthropods, I am inclined to think that Interceptor/Sentinel would be effective, both as a dip and treatment of the display.
I spent about a couple of hours on research on sea spiders on different forums and this is what was suggested , but what I recommend is set up qt tank and try this kind of treatment including corals and rocks with the sea spiders to see how it effects or see what the side effects are.

Confused about using interceptor? It's for heartworms, rounds, hooks and tapes. But doesn't kill ticks which are the closest to arachnids. Same with sentinel? It kills eggs and larvae of fleas but not adults

If you roll with Interceptor, PLEASE keep me updated. I haven't spoke with anyone yet, as they were working their way through treatment with that one.

Are the pictures missing in post #7?
