My first was off a reef on LR
It never opened and died.
I think the aqua cultured are far more tolerant

I do not know if mine were aqua cultured or not. I have one that is thriving one that is surviving and four that have melted away.

Find that gonis need to be fed. And not reef roids. Essentially things you would feed a plant, iron and manganese. Also ensure you’ve got no3 and po4 in the water as well. Moderate to low lighting and moderate flow and you are good to go. I’ve got over 35 at this point. Maybe more. Lost count.

I think that I am upto 28 gonis. A big game changer for me was dosing trace elements. I use the tropic maybe stuff mixed into my 2 part at the moment and it has made a noted improvement. Some of mine do get pretty high PAR though, most people talk about low PAR, but I have some at 350+ loving life.
