my hammer looks like torch

i recently purchased a hammer coral from blue zoo aquatics. when i received the coral it was completely receded and not looking well..after a couple days it started to fully extend but instead of having nice inflated look it was stringy and looked like a torch. i have done much testing and all parameters are consistent and in a healthy range.they are in a medium flow and lower in tank.. my friend ordered some on same day and his are filling out and look much healthier. what could be my cause

Me and friend both bought same hammer. Same order and same delivery. His look like hammer and mine look like torch I’ll attach a picture of his in a moment

In person you can see the anchor on some of the tips. So I believe it is a hammer. I don’t want to change the tank because all other coral including acros. Mocromusas. Monti. Zoas. Favia. Torch. BTA. All are doing great.

Maybe try lower light/flow.

i was thinking less flow i just hate moving coral around... my tank has higher flow and light than his does....
