Made a Road Trip to Cherry Corals in Detroit over the weekend. Sold some zoas to a local reef shop that's begging for more, and I just can't have empty spaces in my Zoa garden. That's sacrilege.
So how do I describe Cherry Corals tank floor to other Zoa geeks. Remember that scene in Willy Wonka where they first walk in the factory floor and stand dumbfounded? Yeah...its like that. Rows of 4x8 tanks with all high end corals and utterly flawless health. Their Zoa tanks are nothing but wall to wall high end stuff. No scrub zoas. A great talk with their crew regarding tank chemistry. Nothing fancy....they practice solid fundamentals and we agree on everything. I could literally stand and just gawk at their tanks for hours.
My zoas were fully open less than an hour after putting them in my tank.
Pic of my haul. I'm a sucker for large zoas and Glyphs.
